Bioengineering being an interdisciplinary field in nature and typically involves the application of advanced materials technologies to address biomedical problems. Currently researcher’s uses physical cues from engineered biomaterials to influence biological responses including bacterial and human stem cell response on biomaterial surfaces and in 3D tissue scaffolds. DiponEd-IISc looking forward to evolve new products in biomaterial science within the area of interests.
